·            Coffee is served after the 10am service

SOME IMPORTANT COMING EVENTS

We would like our churches to be represented at all of these events

INSPIRE:  an event organised by Lochaber Presbytery

Presbytery of Lochaber is arranging a special event at Onich on Saturday 23 October to encourage and equip our congregations for the future.  With workshops on hospitality, gifts, web sites, banner making, youth work, technology for worship and mission, better use of our buildings, and more, this will prove to be a very useful day.  We would like to encourage a number from our congregations to attend, so please tell the minister if you would like to be there

REGIONAL GUILD MEETING:  The Guild is holding Regional Rallies this year, with one in Fort William on Saturday 30 October, when the keynote speaker will be the Moderator, Rt. Rev John Christie.  Tickets from Margaret Varwell

The World Mission Council hosts The Exchange Factor in Inverness on Saturday 30 October to explore how church and community may be involved in world church activities.  The Minister has more details

The Autumn Appeal from Highland Food Bank asks us to give:

Packets of Crackers; Tinned Corned Beef; Tinned Custard; Tinned Rice; Tinned Potatoes.  These items may be brought today and over the next two weeks.

Our Harvest Thanksgiving Services will be on 12 September when our food gifts will go to Cale House, Inverness (which works to re-integrate the homeless into housing), and the Highland Food Bank

REMEMBER: Sunday Service times change next Sunday
